Throughout October, youths 11 years and younger receive free admission-no ticket is required when accompanied by an adult with a valid form of admission. One adult with a valid form of admission can bring up to 6 kids ages 11 and younger free-all month long.

Glittering, glimmering, and glowing lights illuminate the Zoo after dark every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October during HalGLOWeen. There’s spook-tacular fun for all ages with interactive entertainment and mystical adventures, plus tasty culinary treats for you to sink your teeth into.

Brace yourself. Howl-O-Scream, San Diego’s largest, most bone-chilling, adrenaline-pumping Halloween event, storms back into SeaWorld San Diego starting September 12, haunting select nights through November 1. Now in its fifth blood-soaked year, this twisted celebration of terror explodes with reimagined haunted houses, freshly spawned scare zones, and sinister performances. Developed and crafted entirely in-house by the SeaWorld San Diego team. Howl-O-Scream sets itself apart from the competition as a purely original creation: a nightmare engineered to leave guests breathless and begging for mercy.

Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed nighttime event.

SeaWorld San Diego is once again transforming into a vibrant autumn wonderland with the return of Spooktacular, the park’s family-friendly Halloween celebration. Every Friday–Sunday from September 5 to November 2, guests will discover swashbuckling adventures, whimsical pirates, enchanting mermaids, and delightfully spooky surprises - plus trick-or-treating throughout the park. Best of all, it’s included with park admission!

SeaWorld reusable candy bags are available to purchase at any retail location. Please note that guests who are ages 13 and older may not wear costume masks or hoods, and all costumes are subject to the normal dress code for the park. In addition, face painting is not permitted on any guests unless it is done by park artists.

Gaslamp Stop (Stop 6) will be closed Sunday, Sept 28, due to our last Padres game before playoffs!
